We believe Life Groups are one of the best places to foster significant relationships and growth with each other. They provide a great way to connect with a smaller group of people that are brought together by topics/interests, activities, meals, and fellowship. Life Groups are a safe place to be known, encouraged, celebrated, and challenged. The format and atmosphere of each Life Group will be different depending on the leaders and the people in the group, but they all exist to help people connect with each other and with God.

The Presence Driven Life
Dr. Larry Keefauver, Special Guest
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.
Ephesians 5:18 (NKJV) “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.”
Jesus seeks true worshippers; those who worship in spirit (presence) and truth (pure transparency; absolute union with Christ who is truth). John 4
Too much worship today is Present-Driven not Presence-Driven.
Presence = Encountering God
Exodus 33:7-11 “now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp. And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. As Moses went in to the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the Lord spoke with Moses. Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to his tent. The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend.
The Power of Presence
Exodus 33:12-15 Then Moses said to the LORD, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.”
Presence --> Power
1 Samuel 16:13 “So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power.”
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”
Power & Passion --> Purpose
Isaiah 42:13 “The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.”
God’s Power with Zeal births purpose.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.
Isaiah 46:11 “Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.”
Purpose --> Plans
Jeremiah 29:11 I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Psalm 33:10-12 “The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.
Proverbs 16:9, 19:21, 21:5 “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.”
Plans --> Process
Romans 5:3-5 (NIV) Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Process --> Productivity and Prosperity
Prayer needs will be shared with the pastors, staff and volunteers on the LOGF prayer team.
